
Networking event “Opportunities on the Horizon” brought together representatives from of the maritime community in VarnaOn June 11, Marine Cluster Bulgaria hosted the networking event “Opportunities on the Horizon,” bringing together representatives from business, academia, public institutions, and the maritime community. The event served as a platform for exchanging ideas, building new connections, and discussing the future development of the maritime sector in Bulgaria.Among the highlights of the program were presentations by guest speakers who showcased innovative solutions and best practices in the field of sustainability. Danail Marinov, founder of RedGet.io – Port & Maritime Tech for Sustainable Future, introduced participants to artificial intelligence-driven solutions for monitoring and managing carbon emissions in port operations and maritime activities. Particular interest was generated by the presentation of the “New Life for the Black Sea” project, delivered by the ECO.BG team and Alexander Todorov. The initiative aims to restore the marine ecosystem through the implementation of innovative approaches, sustainable practices, and measures for preserving the region’s natural heritage. The organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. Special appreciation was extended to guests who traveled from Burgas, Sofia, and other cities to attend the event and contribute to the productive exchange of knowledge and ideas. During the meeting, participants were also introduced to the opportunities offered by Enterprise Europe Network for businesses and organizations. These include support for international partnerships, access to new markets, assistance in fostering innovation, promoting sustainable development, and participation in European initiatives.
