BlueDial Project Info Day Successfully Launches in Trabzon

 The BlueDial Project officially launched with a successful two-day Info Day held on May 7–8 in Trabzon, Türkiye, bringing together partners, stakeholders, and experts from across the Black Sea region to advance dialogue on regional cooperation, maritime innovation, and the sustainable development of the Blue Economy.

Hosted by the lead partner, Ortahisar Municipality (Trabzon Ortahisar Belediyesi), the event marked an important milestone in the project’s implementation and created a valuable platform for collaboration among institutional representatives, innovation actors, and regional organizations working toward a shared vision for the Black Sea maritime sector.

The Info Day focused on strengthening cross-border cooperation and exploring innovative approaches to sustainable blue growth. Participants engaged in productive discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing coastal communities, while identifying pathways for greater regional synergy, knowledge exchange, and policy alignment.

Through a series of targeted activities and collaborative initiatives, the BlueDial Project aims to bridge institutional and policy gaps across the region. The project supports the harmonization of national and subnational strategies with the broader sustainable Blue Economy vision for the Black Sea Region, contributing to long-term resilience, innovation, and sustainable maritime development.

The event also highlighted the importance of international partnership and multi-stakeholder engagement in addressing shared regional priorities. Project partners from Romania, including ONG Mare Nostrum, Georgia’s Tourism Institute, Türkiye, and organizations from the wider Black Sea region reaffirmed their commitment to building stronger networks for cooperation, innovation, and sustainable economic growth.
