
The "Circular Economy" procedure under the Recovery Plan is open for applications for companiesThe Ministry of Innovation and Growth announced the circular economy procedure from the Recovery and Sustainability Plan (RPS). Its purpose is to accelerate the transition to a circular economy of enterprises from the production sector through more efficient use of resources and the implementation of climate-neutral methods and technologies for the production and consumption of products.The budget of the measure is BGN 180 million, and micro, small, medium and large enterprises from the processing industry will be able to apply for it. They will be able to participate both independently and in partnerships. The minimum amount of the grant is BGN 70,000, and the maximum is differentiated according to the size of the companies. Micro-enterprises can receive a maximum of BGN 350,000, small ones - a maximum of BGN 550,000, medium-sized ones - a maximum of BGN 750,000, and large ones up to BGN 1 million. Co-financing is from 20% to 50%, depending on the category of the company and the location of the project.
The funds can be used to purchase machinery, equipment, or software to help limit environmental damage. Also, to support investments with which companies reduce the generation of waste, limit the use of plastic products, introduce the use of alternative raw materials, including those of biological origin, improve environmental standards, etc.
